Jennifer Arbour has over 17 years of experience working in both private and public sector organizations leading change and transformation by leveraging people, process, data, and technology to create value while delivering a positive user experience. Her background in Information Technology and delivering change has taught her the importance of collaboration, transparency and building trust as demonstrated through her ability to empower teams and foster a culture of project management.

Jennifer joined the Alliance from Simon Fraser University, where she held multiple leadership roles first as Manager of the Project Management Office (PMO) and then as Director of Digital Transformation.​At Simon Fraser, she designed and launched the organization’s first Digital Transformation Office to integrate Enterprise Architecture, Project Management and Change Readiness across technology and business domains. Serving as the chair of the Canadian University Council of Chief Information Officers (CUCCIO) Project & Portfolio Management special interest group to connect with more than 30 institutions across Canada to create a shared strategy towards common best practices, shared knowledge and project management artifacts.

Jennifer holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business. She also current​ly holds her Project Management Professional certification​from​the Project Management Institute (PMI) and holds certificates in leadership coaching, and agile project management.
