Preservation Coordinator
Amanda Tomé is the Preservation Coordinator for the Digital Research Alliance of Canada. In this role, Amanda is responsible for the long-term preservation of datasets deposited in the Federated Research Data Repository (FRDR). Prior to joining the Alliance, Amanda worked in archives across Canada, most recently with The United Church of Canada Archives where she developed the digital preservation program and managed multi-year projects focused on organizational digital records and the digitization of archival material. She has an interest in digital accessibility and project management. Amanda studied history at Concordia University and holds a Master in Archival Studies from the University of British Columbia.
