As Training Coordinator for the Digital Research Alliance of Canada, Catherine supports the Research Data Management, Advanced Research Computing, Research Software, and Cybersecurity teams in the development and implementation of nationally coordinated training and awareness programs and initiatives across Canada. She also provides support to the National Training Expert Group.
Prior to joining the Alliance, Catherine worked as a high school teacher where she pioneered innovative learning experiences, contributed to the implementation of organizational policies, revamped curriculum structures, and initiated a successful onboarding and mentorship program for new teachers.
Catherine studied education and has a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from McGill University as well as certifications in Design Thinking from various institutions, including IBM.
