Curation Officer – Metadata
Laura Gerlitz has a Masters of Library and Information Studies and a Masters of Arts in Digital Humanities from the University of Alberta, as well as a Bachelors of Science in Archaeology from the University of Calgary. During her graduate program her research focused on the image analysis of a special collection from the Bruce Peel Special Collections Library, and worked supporting researchers making their academic publications FAIR through the University of Alberta’s institutional repository. Before joining the Alliance as the Research Data Management Project Officer she improved the description and discovery of economic data through metadata as a Metadata Librarian for the Bank of Canada, and interned at Research Data Canada
