Liseanne Cadieux is a highly experienced professional in information and data architecture, specializing in research data governance, metadata management, and advanced research computing. With nearly 20 years of experience, Liseanne has developed a reputation as a national leader in research infrastructure strategy and implementation.

In her current role at the Digital Research Alliance of Canada, Liseanne oversees the development of architecture frameworks that optimize data reuse and support collaboration across academia, industry, and government. Her contributions include designing the national data architecture, which includes the harmonization of data spaces to a national platform capable of supporting the data needs for both artificial intelligence and quantum computing.

Previously, Liseanne held leadership roles at the National Research Council, the Office of the Secretary to the Governor General, Export Development Canada and Library and Archives Canada where she championed enterprise strategies for data management and governance. Liseanne also actively participates in international committees, promoting global standards for digital objects and data interoperability.

With a Master’s degree in Information Sciences and numerous professional certifications, Liseanne is dedicated to advancing Canada’s research ecosystem and empowering researchers with data centric tools and frameworks.
