Masood Akhtar has joined the Alliance with over 18 years of Cyber Security and Network Infrastructure experience delivering large scale IT security, compliance, and infrastructure projects, and managing data center facilities in the enterprise environment. Most recently, Masood held Program Manager (IT Security and Network Services) and Management Lead (IT Infrastructure Operations) positions at the City of Edmonton and Edmonton Police Services, respectively.
Masood possess a very diversified experience across Education, Financial Services, Telecom, Airline and Government sectors and had been part of several international projects across different regions like Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America.
He holds a master’s degree with specialization in networking from Pakistan and holds several industry reputed certifications like CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert), COBIT 5 and ITIL.
