Steven first entered the world of Advanced Research Computing (ARC) in 2018 in the role of Software Developer. In this role, he worked directly with the creation and support of both applications and web resources used in the ARC ecosystem.
Before becoming a Software Developer, Steven gained extensive experience in Information Technology working as a Network Analyst, with an emphasis on high-density wireless networks. He has also had the privilege of working for various development teams over the years as a Quality Assurance Engineer and as a Web Developer.
Steven holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Diploma in Computer Information Systems, and he is also a Network and Telecommunications Engineering alumnus. He subscribes to behavior-driven, progressive enhancement and agile approaches to software development, and has a strong background in programming languages such as Python, C++, Ruby and Java.
