The Digital Research Alliance of Canada (the Alliance) invites you to join members of our research data management (RDM) team for a webinar to learn more about national RDM services Lunaris and FRDR.

Formerly known as the Federated Research Data Repository (FRDR) Discovery Service, Lunaris is a standalone platform that complements the repository services of FRDR. The scalable and bilingual Lunaris platform provides a single point of search for Canada’s multidisciplinary research data held in a variety of repositories including those of post-secondary institutions, departments at all levels of government, research organizations and national repository initiatives. Mark Goodwin, Discovery Services Product Lead, will introduce the new Lunaris platform, provide an update on improved discovery features and demonstrate platform functionality.

With the launch of Lunaris, FRDR continues to operate as a robust repository option for Canadian researchers in any discipline. Neha Milan, FRDR Product Lead, and Erin Clary, Curation Coordinator, will share more information about the FRDR platform for data sharing and preservation and will highlight recent changes and upcoming features.

Simultaneous interpretation in English and French will be available during this session. Participants are invited to use the official language of their choice. This session will be recorded and posted on the Alliance’s YouTube channel for those who are unable to attend live.
