The final proposal was submitted to ISED on May 6. A summary of the themes and highlights drawn from the community's input is still being developed and will be posted as soon as it is complete.
An advisory group, made up of Dr. Feridun Hamdullahpur, Dr. Mona Nemer, Dr. Andrew Bjerring, and Dr. Mamdouh Shoukri was struck to provide advice to ISED on the evaluation of the proposal. The steering group met with the members of the advisory group on May 14th to discuss the details of the proposal and answer their questions.
Although a specific date was not provided, we anticipate that the evaluation process will be completed by early to mid June with a decision to follow. As the process unfolds, we will continue to keep the community up to date through posts to this site and as needed by email.
We look forward to the next step toward building a researcher-focused digital research infrastructure ecosystem for Canadian researchers.
