Members’ Meeting Recording, Executive Recruitment and Holiday Message

Over the past 11 weeks, I have had the pleasure of meeting with the NDRIO Board, our staff, Members, ecosystem partners and organizations in the Digital Research Infrastructure space. It has been a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community and learn more about the expectations and perceptions of NDRIO.

On December 15, we hosted two Members’ Meetings, in both French and English, where we shared an update and engaged in a Q&A session with our membership, whose contributions and collaboration are very important and much appreciated. For the benefit of all of our stakeholders, a live webcast recording of the meeting and the presentation can be found on the NDRIO website.

Team Recruitment

We have engaged executive recruitment firm Odgers Berndtson to help us recruit for senior-level roles. Current openings include:

  • VP, Operations and Security
  • VP, Corporate Services
  • VP, Communications and External Relations
  • Director, Information Security
  • Director, Procurement and Grant Management

Please watch our Careers page and our LinkedIn and Twitter pages over the coming days and weeks, and share the postings with your network.

Happy Holidays

As 2020 comes to a close, I would like to say a special thank you for your continued support of NDRIO. This has been a challenging year for everyone, but the resiliency, perseverance and kindness I have witnessed from coast-to-coast has been truly inspiring. I have an unwavering belief that advancing our work together to benefit Canadian researchers in the new year will affect us all tremendously. It is my sincere hope that with the recent distribution of a COVID-19 vaccine, we will be able to gather in person to develop our Strategic Plan.

Warm wishes to you and your loved ones for a safe, happy holiday season and a prosperous new year ahead.
