I hope you and your loved ones are well during these unprecedented times. The NDRIO team remains hard at work from our home offices, advancing NDRIO’s 2020-21 workplan so that we can meet the needs of the Canadian DRI community. We would like to acknowledge and thank all those in the research community who are actively searching for solutions in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As we do our work over the next few weeks and months, we will remain sensitive to the needs and capacity of the community to engage with us, and will adjust our approach and timing as needed.
Corporate Plan Approved
Meanwhile, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) has approved NDRIO’s Corporate Plan, outlining our planned activities for 2020-21. We invite you to review the document, and to please let us know if you have any questions.
We have also posted our By-Laws to our website, for your reference. The AGM this fall will represent an opportunity for Members to raise any questions or feedback about the by-laws. We will share more information about our plans for the AGM over the coming months.
I would like to again thank Members who took part in our Special Members’ Meeting on March 11. The presentations and webcasts are now posted to our website for Members and stakeholders alike.
If you have any questions or comments about NDRIO, and/or how we are undertaking our work during these unprecedented times, please contact us.
Thank you and stay well.
George Ross
Interim Executive Director
