Since our last Members’ Meetings on July 28 and 29, 2020, the New Digital Research Infrastructure Organization (NDRIO) has welcomed a new CEO, held its first AGM, announced the Researcher Council and launched the Canadian Digital Research Infrastructure Needs Assessment to help inform our strategic planning process.
Before 2020 comes to a close, we’d like to provide Members an update and share next steps for 2021. The meetings will be hosted on Zoom, and will be recorded and housed on our website.
To join us, we have sent all NDRIO Members an invitation via email on December 1, 2020. If you did not receive this invitation and are a Member, please email NDRIO-NOIRN@engagedri.ca.
The following are the dates and times for the Members' Meeting:
Tuesday, December 15 at 1 pm to 2:30 pm EST (English)
Tuesday, December 15 at 3 pm to 4:30 pm EST (French)
This meeting is open to all Primary and Associate NDRIO Members, and there is no limit as to how many individuals per Member organization can join. At the meeting, Members will have the chance to take part in a Q&A session and share feedback.
NDRIO Team Recruitment
As NDRIO evolves from “start-up” to “scale-up,” we are starting to recruit for a variety of roles within the organization. We are currently recruiting for the roles of Director, Strategic Initiatives and Board Secretary. We will also shortly be in market recruiting for executive-level roles. Please watch for our postings on our Careers page and in social media, and please share these opportunities with your networks. We will share more about the recruitment – including our working organizational chart – at our Members’ Meeting on Dec. 15.
Should you experience any difficulties registering for the Members’ Meeting, or have questions with regard to any of the above, please email us at NDRIO-NOIRN@engagedri.ca.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Sincerely,
Nizar Ladak
CEO
