As our team continues to evolve and grow, we’re excited to welcome our newest leader, Mark Leggott, effective June 21, 2021. In his new role, Mark will further develop and oversee International Relations on behalf of NDRIO to ensure Canada’s Digital Research Infrastructure (DRI) ecosystem is well positioned on the global stage. Updating our Terminology: Position Papers
Through ongoing planning and internal consultation efforts, we are working to embed principles of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion throughout every facet of our organization. Recently, a team member highlighted the importance of updating a specific term to ensure we are fostering a more inclusive and collaborative environment for all of our stakeholders. In light of this feedback, “White Papers” will now be referred to as “Position Papers” in all projects. We are thankful to our team members for raising these issues, which allows us to continuously learn and improve.
Latest Engage Blog
This month, we are working closely with our Highly Qualified Personnel (HQP) community on our plans for the future, including the transition ahead. In my latest blog, I wanted to take the opportunity to acknowledge the crucial and invaluable role HQP play in fostering a strong DRI ecosystem through their specialized support of researchers at universities, libraries and other institutions across Canada. Thank you to our HQP for enabling Canada’s researchers to innovate every day.
