NDRIO Now Recruiting Members: Applications Due Jan 24, 2020

Dear Colleagues,

The New Digital Research Infrastructure Organization (NDRIO) is now extending invitations to the DRI community to apply for membership as we head into the first full year of operations.

Based on the criteria outlined in the Membership and Governance Model, tailored letters and application forms are being sent to prospective Primary (Voting) Members and prospective Associate Members through a new email account, NDRIO-NOIRN@engagedri.ca. We will also be using this email account to share future updates about NDRIO.

For more information about Primary (Voting) Membership, please click here. For the Primary (Voting) Membership application form in MS Word, click here.

For more information about Associate Membership, please click here. For the Associate Membership application form in MS Word, click here.

Membership applications will be received up to and including January 24, 2020, with payment not required until April 1, 2020. The deadline is driven by the need to call a general Members’ meeting in late February to establish the inaugural Board of Directors.

It has been an exciting and fast-paced six months since we developed and submitted the proposal to establish the new organization, and we want to thank the community for its continued engagement and support. We look forward to this continuing as we undertake these critical next steps to get NDRIO up and running.

On behalf of the Applicant Board and the Interim Team, I would also like to extend best wishes for the holiday season. This is an exciting time for Canada’s research community, and we look forward to 2020 as we continue to build this important organization with the community.

If you have any questions about NDRIO and/or membership, please contact me any time or email NDRIO-NOIRN@engagedri.ca.

Sincerely,

Lori MacMullen

Chair, Applicant Board (NDRIO) and Executive Director, Canadian University Council of Chief Information Officers (CUCCIO)
