The proposal was submitted to ISED on Monday May 6 as required. We want to thank the community for your input and comments during the development of the proposal. We received comments from 55 individuals and organizations between April 20 and May 3rd and were also pleased to receive 30 letters of support from individuals, institutions, discipline specific research communities, research associations and other community based organizations. The community came together to inform and support the process despite the short time lines—a significant achievement that reflects the capacity of the community to work together.
